CCP7 is a Collaborative Computational Project, financed by the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council of the UK. It is concerned with the calculation of theoretical models suitable for the interpretation of stellar and interstellar spectra. It aims to:
  • Maintain a library of state-of-the-art computer software
  • Foster scientific collaborations
  • Support the UK astronomical community
  • Promote the use of advanced research computers in astronomy

This site has a mirror at STScI in America.


News

On 19th January 2000 postscript file of the paper "The cooling of astrophysical media by HD" by D.R. Flower et al has been added to Publications.

On 27th October 2000 postscript file of the paper "Sputtering of grains in C-type shocks" by P.W. May et al has been added to Publications.

On 26th February 2001, data pertaining to the paper "Collisional excitation of H2  by grains in C-type shocks" by G. Pineau des Forêts et al has been added to Publications.

On 7th June 2001, data pertaining to the paper "The rotational excitation of CO by H2" by D.R. Flower has been added to Publications.
